Fielding Health allows teams to view more detailed information for Surveys in Progress on the Dashboard. In addition to actual completions, ordered completes, and the percentage collected, team members can gauge fielding health in real time through a color-coded progress bar.

Survey Status Stages
From your Dashboard, you can monitor both the status of your survey and its fielding health. These stages provide clarity on progress and help teams coordinate tasks, monitor performance, and prepare for analysis and reporting.
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | The survey is in the creation phase and has not yet been launched. You can freely edit questions, logic, quotas, and targeting settings. |
| In Progress | The survey is live and actively collecting responses. Fielding health metrics are available to monitor performance. Limited edits may be possible — contact support@aytm.com for assistance. |
| In Review | The survey is being reviewed for data quality and/or to finalize quotas. Responses may be removed and replaced during this time. |
| Complete | The survey has been finalized. All data has been processed and is ready for reporting or export. No further changes or reviews are expected. |
Color-Coded Health Indicators
- Green — the actual incidence rate matches the estimated incidence rate. Your survey is fielding as expected.
- Orange — the survey is at risk. The IR is coming in below the predicted range, though the study hasn't yet reached a re-pricing threshold.
- Red — the survey has been paused. Reach out to our Customer Engagement team to discuss options, including revisions to your screening criteria or adding budget.
- Blue — the survey hasn't yet received enough responses to generate an accurate fielding status.
Viewing Survey Status Detail
- Click the gear icon and select Fielding Health, or click directly on the progress bar of the survey you want to investigate.
- Review the fielding health note, Predicted IR, Current Status, Predicted Median LOI, and Actual Median LOI.
- For surveys with an At Risk or Paused status, click Open Term Data to open the in-progress report filtered to the question(s) where respondents are being terminated.
- After reviewing the Term Report, click Get in touch with us to open a live chat with our Customer Engagement team and discuss options for moving your survey forward.
⚠️ Note: The Term Data Report is filtered to include respondents with a Screened Out status — this includes both respondents who did not qualify for the survey and those who entered after a quota had already been met.
Adding Funds to a Paused Survey
If your survey is paused and still feasible at the current fielding IR, you can add funds and restart without making any changes to the survey.
- Click Add Funds to go to the Checkout page.
- Select a budget from the Primary Payment Method dropdown, or add a credit card.
- Check the boxes confirming you've read and agreed to aytm's Terms of Use.
- Click Pay and Launch Survey.
