Surveys should save automatically, but if you're ever unable to save, try these steps.
- Do not close your browser window. In most cases the issue is a temporary loss of connection.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + S to activate the save button.
- Click the share icon on the left side of the page and download a Word document version of your survey — this way you won't lose your work if the save fails.
- Wait 15–30 minutes and try to save again. In most cases it's a temporary connection issue; leaving the browser window open ensures the survey will save automatically once the connection is restored.

We may be able to retrieve a copy of your survey, though it might not include the most recent changes — which is why we recommend downloading a Word document version as a backup.
