3. Adding Shelf Test Logic to Bulk Upload
Automatically populate Shelf Test logic into your Shelf Test by adding a syntax in the bulk upload file.
- Add new columns in the bulk file for the shelf row and position information for product facings. You can use one column in the row per facing for each product.
- The syntax in the bulk upload file will follow a formula such as: Row X Product Display Order. For example:
- To display a product on row 1 (top row), and as the first product on the left, the formula would be: 1.1
- To display a product on row 2, and as the first product on the left, the formula would be: 2.1
- To display a product on row 2, and as the second product on the left, the formula would be: 2.2
- Edit the shelf logic in the platform or make changes to the bulk upload file and reload it to adjust any product positions. Any edits made directly to the shelf logic are reflected in the bulk upload file if downloaded from the platform.
- If you adjust an existing shelf logic string via bulk upload file, any use of shelf-left, shelf-right, shelf-center, shelf-flex is preserved
NOTE: If you adjust an existing shelf logic string via bulk upload file, any use of shelf-left, shelf-right, shelf-center, shelf-flex is preserved, however to create a new logic string via bulk upload file, shelf should be used
