Statistical Significance in Tracker Portal

Tracker Portals display statistical significance for attributes and entities against the mean, and also against other waves in the portal.

Statistical significance: mean

Shading indicates that a cell is statistically significantly different from the mean, at the Primary or Secondary confidence level indicated in the key below the portal.

  1. Below the portal, click the Confidence level drop-downs to adjust the Primary and Secondary confidence levels for the entire portal.
  2. Click the Cell colors drop-down to adjust the colors in the portal. (Color changes will only be reflected in the portal that you are currently viewing.)

Statistical significance: waves

Capital and lowercase letters within a cell indicate a statistically significant difference from the wave indicated by the letter in a cell.

  1. Hover over a letter to see the wave to which the abbreviation refers.
  2. Click on a letter to jump to that wave, which will be highlighted briefly.
  3. Below the portal, click the Confidence level drop-downs to adjust the Primary and Secondary confidence levels for the entire portal.
