Tracking attributes
Select Track an attribute to compare the performance over time of each entity for one attribute.
- Click the second drop-down in the left column to select from available attributes.
- Click on an entity tile to highlight the line in the chart, drag the tile to rearrange the order, or click the x to remove the entity from view.
- Click the Add a row button at the bottom, and select which entities on which you would like to measure the attribute.
Keep in mind that if you are not using your Tracker studies to track something like brands or products over time, “entity” will refer to your entire study, and the Track an attribute selection may not yield any data for you.

Tracker Portal Split Views
In addition to viewing overall wave data side by side, you can also view entity/attribute performance for various demographics.
-
Click the Split-by drop-down to select from available demographic traits. When you select a trait, the wave banners will reload with nested banners - one for each category of the trait. Empty cells indicate that not enough data was collected for that category.
- Click the bent arrow in the upper right corner of any wave to swap the nesting of banners, from grouped waves, to grouped demographic categories.

Metadata
Along the left side of the Portal, are the controls for additional information about each wave in view, including its metadata, attributes, entities, and other controls to segment your data. Metadata for each wave includes fielding dates, sample size, and Survey IDs; clicking on a Survey ID will take you to that particular survey’s Results page, in case you would like to review the source data more closely.
- Click and drag the metadata labels to rearrange them.
- Click the X relative to an item to remove it from view.
- Click Add a row to select hidden metadata items to display.
- Click the Hide metadata button to hide all metadata, and then Show metadata to add it back.
