With the Verbatim Coding pane open in the left menu:

Hover over an individual codebook and click the gear icon to:

1. Rename Codebook
2. Clone Codebook
3. Copy Codebook Structure
4. Delete Codebook and codes from all reports

Hover over an individual code and click the gear icon to:

1. Remove code from comments on the page
2. Remove code from all comments found comments
3. Rename the code
4. Assign to multiple comments
5. Delete code itself from all reports

1. Search your comments for a plain text response that might be common or anticipated in lieu of the open-ended question.
2. Locate the code you would like to apply.
3. Hover over the code to illuminate a gear icon containing bulk actions.
4. Click this icon to open the bulk actions menu.
5. Click Assign to multiple comments and select the option to apply to All comments on this page or All comments found.

Notice that the code has been applied to all the comments and the number of times it has been used is updated.

Once a set of comments have been grouped: 

1. Drag the appropriate code from the codebook on the left, and drop it on the drop-target to the right of the search bar.
2. Determine which subset of comments to which you would like to apply the code, All comments on this page or All comments found.
3. Click Apply to respectively, and your comments will be updated accordingly. 

1. Hover over the code on the left side of the screen to illuminate the gear icon and click it. The options in the bulk actions menu allow you to Remove code from comments on page or Delete code itself from all reports.
2. Click Remove code from comments on page and the code will be removed from the comments but remain on the codes list for future use.
3. Click Delete code itself from all reports and the code will be deleted from the codebook, all respective comments, and any references in logic strings.. 
4. Click Confirm removal.
