If you want to randomize elements in the survey (by having the "randomize" checkbox on), but also need to keep some answers together, use the [glue ...] logic. Just mention which elements (answers, subquestions, or other components) need to go together with AND (,) if you want the elements to preserve the order, or OR (.) if the order of the glued elements needs to be randomized too.

Example:

Let’s design a question to ask respondents about their preferred morning beverage. Since the options can vary widely, we’ll group similar types of beverages together, such as coffee-based drinks and tea-based drinks.

1. Type the question text and answer choices into the editor page.
2. Select the Randomize checkbox on the bottom right corner of the question.
3. Type the Glue logic syntax into the question text box. In this case, we will add:
   
   • [Glue Q1A1,2,3]: This will glue together the coffee based beverages– Latte, Black coffee, and Espresso.
   • [Glue Q1A5,6]: This will glue together the tea based beverages– Black tea and Green tea
   • The final logic statement will be: [Glue Q1A1,2,3] [Glue Q1A5,6]
4. Click Quick Preview in the left sidebar to ensure logic is functioning as desired.
