Shelf Test settings can be optimized for findability exercises, preventing respondents from changing their mind and reducing the number of clicks it takes to complete the exercise.
Auto-Advancing Respondents
Above your product list, you will find a dropdown which presents the options of Shopping mode or Findability mode. In Shopping mode, respondents can place items in their cart as directed. In Findability mode, respondents are pushed to the next question when they make a selection.
- Click the Shopping Mode dropdown and select Findability Mode.
With this parameter set, when a respondent clicks on a product, their selection will be recorded and they will auto-advance to the next question.
Optional Price Tags
- Click the Product Settings dropdown.
- Uncheck the box next to Show product prices to remove the price tags from respondent view.
On the Results page, the statistics for Average cart spend and Total price spend will display as N/A.
