Custom Prequalification questions help qualify or disqualify respondents for your survey, are available for surveys in all countries, and can be used in conjunction with Premium Profiles.

Adding Custom Prequals to Your Survey

1. On the Survey Editor page, click the Add a Prequal button to add as many Prequals as desired.
2. Select from Single choice, Multiple positive choices, or Multiple negative choices.
3. Type or paste your prequalification question into the Question field.
4. Type or paste answer options into the Answer fields, and use the + button to add more.
5. Click Allow or Disqualify to toggle which responses advance or disqualify a respondent:
   • Single choice — click Allow or Disqualify to the right of any answer option.
   • Multiple positive choices — click (-----) next to an answer to toggle it to Accept. Respondents who don't select at least one Accept option will be disqualified.
   • Multiple negative choices — click (-----) next to an answer to toggle it to Disqualify. Respondents who select any Disqualify option will be disqualified.
6. Click the Randomize checkbox to randomize answer options.

Check the N/A checkbox to add a mutually exclusive N/A option to multiple-choice Prequals.
