On the Results page, there may be a few automated reports generated, depending on your survey content. These include Automated Concept Lab Report and Term Report.
Automated Concept Lab Report
Once a survey using Smart Loops or Group Logic begins fielding, the platform automatically generates a Concept Lab report. This report is created based on any supported group configurations included in your survey, so you’ll have results ready without any extra setup.
Accessing Automated Concept Lab Report
When a survey begins fielding, navigate to the Stats page.
- Click Reports in the left sidebar.
- Select Automated Concept Lab Report beneath the Automated Reports section. The report will automatically populate with the Concept Lab and all questions included within the selected group.
Note: If the survey contains multiple groups, each subsequent group will appear directly after the final question of the previous group.
Editing an Automated Concept Lab Report
The Automated Concept Lab Report can be edited at any time to adjust or refine the output.
- Click the Group drop-down menu to select another pre-defined group (identified by any group logic or Smart Loops used in the survey), or click Custom Set up to start with a blank table.
Note: Keep in mind, pre‑defined groups each generate their own Concept Lab further down in the report. Selecting Custom Set Up removes the automated Concept Lab for this survey, so it’s recommended to create a new Concept Lab instead of overwriting the existing one. - Click the gear icon to edit the entities and attributes of the Concept lab. From here, you can:
- Click within the Label & Image text box to rename an entity.
- Click the Camera icon to insert or replace an image.
- Click Add an entity to add additional entities.
- Click the attribute Questions/Subquestions drop-downs to select the Question and answer options you would like to evaluate.
Note: Attributes are automatically highlighted at the most positive end of the scale (e.g., “Strongly Agree”). - Click within the Label text box to rename an attribute.
- Click Add attribute to add any additional attributes.
- Click Run Comparison to regenerate the Concept Lab with the new configurations.
- Click Save as new report at the top of the page to preserve your changes.
Note: Automated Concept Labs function similarly to the Original-as-fielded report: edits can be made, but they must be saved as a new report to be retained. Any unsaved changes remain local and will be lost if the browser cache is cleared.
Automated Term Report
Once a survey has begun fielding, the platform automatically generates a Term Report. This report shows which respondents were screened out through a survey's pre-qualification questions and termination points in a survey.
When a survey begins fielding, navigate to the Stats page.
- Click Reports in the left sidebar.
- Select Term Report under the Automated Reports section. The report will automatically populate with a Virtual Question that displays the number of respondents terminated by:
- Any pre-qualification (PQ) questions
- Any main survey questions with termination logic points
- Any main survey questions with custom quota logic points
Note: The Term Report can be exported via the Export tab, but it cannot be modified. To further explore data of those who were terminated, switch to the Original- as fielded or other saved report. From there, you can filter on status, found under the Filter by Variables section of the Filter menu. You can also use status in Virtual Questions, found under Data Lab, to create custom views.
