Skipper Draft
Skipper Draft is an AI tool integrated into the Survey Editor page on aytm, designed to streamline the survey creation process and helps users design a survey draft based on their prompts.
- Type survey prompts into the Skipper Draft text box on the Survey Editor page to generate a draft. This draft can be reviewed and modified to ensure it meets your study's needs.
- Use Suggest to refine your survey further.
- Use Modify to adapt existing questions or add new ones.
- Use Resolve to Fit to addresses issues, such as excessive characters or answer options.

Skipper Translate
Skipper Translate is an automated translation tool designed to facilitate the translation of survey drafts into different languages based on the fielding country, streamlining survey creation for multi-country projects.
- Select a second language from the Language drop-down menu on the Target Market page.
- Click the Languages button in the Survey Editor after programming the survey in the researcher's language to access the Translations table.
- Click the the down arrow next to your alternate translation label, and select Translate with Skipper from the drop-down menu. Skipper Translate will populate the alternate language column with translated survey text.

Skipper Explore
Skipper Explore is an AI-powered tool on the Results page that delivers faster, automated analysis of survey data. It generates statistical conclusions using proven models within the aytm platform and expresses them as concise, readable statements through Generative AI. Skipper Explore reads top-line summary data, translates it into English, runs significance tests, and summarizes any statistically significant differences.
- Click the Explore with Skipper button next to a question on the Results page to generate an editable Storytelling Note summarizing the insights.
- Click the 3-dot icon menu with the Explore with Skipper sign.
- Set primary and secondary Confidence Levels.
- Click the Add banners drop-down menu and select any number of banners.
- Click Explore with Skipper to analyze the question with the selected banners. This will provide specific data and correlations related to the selected banners and the chosen question.

Skipper Autocode
Skipper Autocode is an AI-driven tool that streamlines coding for survey responses. When you add an Open-Ended Question, Form Question, or Open-Ended answer option in the Survey Editor, Skipper Autocode detects themes in the response data and codes them automatically. It can also bulk-add codebooks to individual survey questions.
Open the Coding tab in the left menu.
Select the desired question from the drop-down menu.

Click the Autocode drop-down menu and select:
Apply codebook to apply codes from an existing codebook.
Guided autocode to expand and refine a category.

Verbatim Skipper Translate
Verbatim Skipper Translation lets researchers review open-ended responses in their chosen Research Language, making multilingual survey analysis easier. Responses are translated from the survey’s programmed languages into the designated Research Language for streamlined interpretation.
With Verbatim Skipper Translation enabled, navigate to the stats page and click the Verbatim icon below the header to open the Qualitative report.
- Click the Languages icon next to the search bar to open a menu displaying the languages in which respondents have provided their answers.

From here, you can select:
- Original: View verbatims in the original response language.
- EN: View the English translation of all verbatims.

Other language(s): View the translation of all verbatims in another language used in your survey.

Conversation AI
Conversation AI is a question type which allows respondents to engage in conversation with Skipper, aytm’s AI assistant, on topics chosen by researchers.
- Click Add a question in the Survey Editor.
- Select Conversation question and type or paste a topic or prompt into the question field.
- Click the talking point text field and type or paste up to 15 talking points. These will be the main topics you wish to discover during your research. These points guide the conversation and can be expanded through customization settings, such as depth, input, and style.
