This article will explain how to read the results page in Score Average mode for the following question types:
To use the following interpretation, make sure the question is set to Score Average mode.

The top chart will give you the overall score summary. Each answer choice is assigned a score value.
- For Reorder and Side-by-Side question types (both ranking-based questions), the score values are reversed from the position ranks. This means the lowest-ranked will be given a score value of 1 while the highest-ranked item will have a score value equal to the number of items tested (e.g., 4 if four items were ranked).
- For Star Ratings, the score values are equal to the rating value or the numeric code of the rating given.
- For Smiley Ratings, the score values range from either -1 to +1 with no midpoint for a two-emoticon scale, -1 to +1 with a midpoint of 0 for three-emoticon scale, and -2 to +2 with a midpoint of 0 for a 5-emoticon scale.
Each subsequent chart is each individual answer response and how the respondents placed that answer.
